College of Life Sciences - Brigham Young University

While studying at Brigham Young University, I worked as a Software Engineer in the College of Life Sciences. I was on a team with 6 other students working on 45 apps and web pages for the department.

I worked for a semester in the College of Life Sciences at Brigham Young University as a Software Developer. This job was a great opportunity to gain mentorship from professionals with decades of experience in software development. I was lucky enough to get to work here before AI totally revolutionized the software development landscape, so I was able to develop some good habits and learn how to produce quality code. Another great part of this role was that we often got to act as product managers too, meeting with professors and helping them bring their ideas to life on the internet.
